Orange trees are obviously the trees that grow orange's for people and animals to eat. They Live to be about 50 - 60 years old, but some can live to 100 years or more! They often range around 16 - 50 feat tall at full maturity. Starting a orange tree from a seed can take about 10 - 12 years before it bares fruit, or even its whole life! There is also the fact that they are susceptible to various diseases. This is why people usually use a method known as Grafting to help grow the tree. This speeds up the process by attaching a shoot or twig, helping it grow faster taking about 2 - 3 years to grow fruit.
Orange’s are widely known for their helping of vitamin C. But may also help against some other diseases. One study was to think that people could harness the power of orange’s to create a colorectal cancer, however it was soon found out that the number of orange’s it would take was too many for someone to actually consume taking about 300 orange’s. Orange’s also have no sodium which helps people stay below their daily limit. Orange juice can actually boost your daily potassium intake! I sincerely believe that orange’s are the best fruit, and you should go have one like right now.
